Well they said Darkri, not Cresselia. So after the hall of fame and national pokedex, go to the Sailors house talk to the boy than the Sailor.

The Sailor takes you to Newmoon Island than using the pokemodifier, use that, and you have a Cresselia. To get dialga and palkia make sure you've beaten the game and have a adament and lustrouse orb go to clestic town talk to Cynthia then go to spear pillar where you met giratina go to the blue light 4 dialga leave come back to pink light 4 palkia they r on level 70 fight them with a pokemon about level 73 and bring slot of dusk balls save before battle so if you fail to catch I can redo.

Save the game when you step on the first platform looking thing with a symbol on it. After saving, turn off the DS and back on. Walk to the next platform at the end, and save the game and repeat the off and on thing.

There you have it. Lugia and Ho-oh appear, but you can only choose one because the other flees, but another one of my cheats allows you to catch the other.

I would reccomend having about 3 Master Balls on you for them. Enjoy your new Lugia or Ho-oh! Here is a really good combo. First level up your Drapion until it knows Cross Poison.

Then give it the item Scope Lens. Here's how it works, Drapion's move, Cross Poison, has a high critical hit rate already. Then with the item Scope Lens, the critical hit rate increases even more.

But wait there's MORE! It's ability, Sniper, increases the damage dealt from critical hits! So there you have it, the arguably the best combo ever: Another really good combo- Pokemon: Tangrowth This is what to do.

Get a Tangrowth da. Then teach it Sunny Day and Solar Beam. Give it the Heat Rock. Alright, you all probably know about the Sunny Day and Solar Beam combo right?

Between the times First go to Jubiife City. Go into the Jubilife TV Building. It is big and has a big flashing screen on the front. Go inside and talk to the lady behind the counter.

She will pull the number. After she says if you win or lose, save your game and turn the power off and on again.

Press the ds icon at the bottom if the touch screen. Change the time to Save the settings and quickly turn the power off then on again.

Quickly start the game and e it the TV Building. Turn your poketch to the clock the one with the pikachu on it not the one that actually looks like a clock.

When the time turns You will be able to pull another ticket. The best way to win is to trade with people to get different pokemon ID numbers.

I do not know how to get the Azure Flute needed to get an Arceus without cheating besides that you need to have the Nintendo event. Anyways after you get the event arceus without cheating go to orebourgh I think that's how you spell it then go to the mine which is somewhere at the bottom of orebourgh.

Go farther down once you enter talk to everybody because I don't know which person it is. If it's none of them go back up but not all the way out.

One of those guys should have given you the flame plate. Give it to arceus he will turn fire type. Also when he is level or somewhere close to that he will learn judgment which is also affected by the flame plate.

Line 2 The best team for the Pokemon League: It was so scary, different and impossible. The foe's level was 79 and you have to be 40!

To get Magnazone do the same to catch Gabite only get Magnatone. Hope you like Magnazone! OK, this is how to get Garchomp.

First, you need Surf, Fly and Waterfall. OK, so fly to Sunnyshore City. Go to Victory Road. Capture Gabite it might take awhile.

Then, go to Rout and get it to lv. Hope you like your Garchomp! First to get Riolu you need to go to this island talk to the guy in the entrance and guide him to the last elevator then he"ll give you an egg and don't forget to leave room in your inventory hatch it and there you go you have a riolu it will evolve into Lucario at good friendship level for me it was at lvl 32 or To get shaymin in sky form you need to go to floaroma town and talk to a lady near the pokecenter.

Then she will give you aan gracidea flower key item use it on shaymin it only can use it between ampm. Here are some evolution for: To change rotom into a different form you must have a rotom and the secret key.

You can get the secret key at toy r us or by using cheats. Go to the the team galactic eterna building. Once your inside use the secret key in the first floor to unlock the hidden doorway.

When you are in the hidden room you will see five different objects in the center of the room. Get close to one of the objects and rotom will change form.

Make sure rotom is in your team or else this will not work. Have fun with your rotoms new form. To get Shiny Pokemon without trading them from someone's Action Replay is by seeing that same type of Pokemon over and over again until you see the same type of Pokemon with different colors.

You can also tell it's shiny if when you start battling it some stars show up around it. If you capture it and check it's summary a red star will appear next to it, meaning that it's a shiny one.

Some Pokemon like Bidoof will look exactly the same even if it's shiny. Here's how to get the awesome dragon move draco meteor but this might be tricky.

And in a while you will have a very good move. I think you can also get this move from action replay.

First, go catch a eletobuzz you can find them to the left of sunnyshore city Then, give it a electrizer and trade it.

It will then evolve into a electvire! Ok this is an easier way to get Giratina. Make sure you don't use the master ball that TeamGalacticLeader Cyrus gives you.

Then when you get to the torn world and battle Giratina all you got to do is use it and Bam instant Giratina without having to injure your pokemon.

Well I hope you enjoy your Lv. Then go to celestic town and talk to the elder. She will tell you what to do. After that do the stuff she tell you to do.

The two orbs at Mt. Coronet where you use the HM water fall. Go to the Spear Pillar. Click on the portal and face dialga.

Make him weak[I call dialga a he and palkia a she]and use as many turns as possible. Use a timer ball and he should be caught. Do the same thing with palkia.

These are all event Pokemon: Shadows of Almia, or get the event members pass. Here's how to catch Giratina.

First you need like 50 ultra balls. Go deep into Mt. Coronet then you will see Cyrus standing there.

Then he will have Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf come out and form a portal to the distortion world then a shadow will come out of portal then fling mud all over.

Then Dialga and Palkia will pop up out of no where. Then Giratina will leave and go back into distortion world. Cyrus will jump into the distortion world, then you do.

It will lead you to the revers world also known as the distortion world. It is kinda weird there you can walk on walls you can also walk upside down.

Before you get to Giratina you have to free Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf by using strength to move the big boulders into holes then they will be free.

At the end of the revers world Cyrus will be standing in front of Giratina later Cyrus will leave. Then go up to Giratina and press the "A" button then start battling him bring down his hp to like 1 or 2 hp then start using ultra balls then if your lucky you will capture it.

They are at like lvl To get a Pokemon with a friendship evolution to evolve early, give it lots of massages.

You can get one in vielstone city and in the ribbon syndicate. You can get into the syndicate by having 1 Pokemon with 10 ribbons to get in.

When you get into there, go over to the top left corner and then you'll see a faint red light coming from that corner and use the Secret Key.

A pathway will open up and in the when you get past that a washer, a fridge, a lawn mower, a fan, and a stove will be there. Choose your favorite one and Rotom will learn a new move based on the kind of machine it possesses.

I will tell more in a new one.

I will tell more in a new one. All you need to do to cath the Pokemon is to run back anf forth between Routes and until one of the pokemon is where you are on the marking map.

The Marking Map can be found in the pokech company in Jubilife city and talking to the guy by the Front Desk. I suggest you use Ultra or Dusk balls to Capture the pokemon.

Well first, to find the wandering pokemon, Cresseillia is on fullmoon island, Mesprit is in lake verity, and the birds you can find after you talk to Oak at pal pakr, than in eterna city.

The easy way to catch them is to stand between two routes and go back and forth, look on your marking map, which is obtained in Jubbilife city, and battle the pokemon.

Go to the right of the Survival area and go to the right all the way. Go up to Stark Mountain with Buck. There will be a cave in the mountain.

You're journey with Buck. You will return at the entrance of Stark Mt. Go to Survival area and battle you're rival, like Tom or what ever you named him or her.

After that go inside the building next to you because you can battle any Gym leader there. Go outside and head over to Stark Mt. And go to the same place in there.

Heatran will be there at level He's not that hard to catch. To get a Wormadam first go to Hearthome City. Next go south like you are going to the pokemon mansion but don't!

Keep going until you see a blonde haired woman looking right. Well, battle her and you will see that she has 3 Wormadams! This works on all versions of platinum First get an adament orb and a loustrous orb in mt.

Cournet then look inside of the cave version with a waterfall and go on it then you will find 2 items and they are the adement and lostrous orb.

Go to spear pillar and you will see a portal if its a blue 1 talk to it and there will be dialga then when your done catching him go outside of spear pillar then enter again and catch palkia they are very very easy to catch.

First of go on the bike route just bellow Eterna city. Once you get of of it, go to the right of the route, cut the tree down, and go all the way back of the canyon.

Then go to the left under the bridge. Then go up until no more , go to the left, and go forward as you can. Once you have enterred the cave go run around in it until you find a Gible.

It will evolve into a Gabite at lv. It will take an exp. Share to level up fast. Mine took till right after the last Gym to evolve into a Garchomp.

First, you have to get the national pokedex by beating the elite 4, then you go up the waterfall in MT. Corenet and go in the cave, after that click on the poke balls on both sides and you will get the Adamant orb and the Lustruos orb and click on the stone in the middle.

Finally, go to Spear Piller and battle dialga first then palkia leave then come back to battle palkia. They are both Lv. You will now have access to the Resort Area.

You can get there by sailing from Snowpoint City. The little lake is located obove the Pokemon Center in the Resort Area.

You can find Magikarp's at lv. Training them one level will evolve them into a Gyarados leaving you with a powerful pokemon.

To evolve electrobuzz you will need to get a electrizer then give it to your electrobuzz and then trade it.

Sometimes electrobuzzes are holding electrizers in the wild. Here is a cheat were you can get rotom heat form. It wil appear in box 1 slot 1 in your pc make sure nothing else is there.

Sorry its so long. So here it is: Beat the Elite Four. Go to Route and find the spot near a rock, a tiny one, between two slopes. Its on page , at step four.

The place is a little to the left It is hidden, a little hard to see because of the sandstorm, and what better place to find Regirock!

A little to the left of the stone, you can kind of see a little cave. Go in and do what k said. First, you'll have to have got the special regigigas from toys r' us march 8thst.

Then have him in your party and go through the game until you get to canalave city. Load up on at least 20 or more dusk balls because I had 3 left when I caught him!

Get through iron island and next to the entrance there's a little cave. Go in it and you'll see Registeel's eye pattern flashing red.

Then get ready to fight Registeel. Once you're ready, talk to the pokemon statue and Registeel pops out! He is at level 30 and causes trouble!

Get his health down and use all the dusk balls you can! You'll have to have gotten to snowpoint city to get Regice. Go down to route and then go down towards eterna city, and celestic town.

Then you'll eventually come to a cave. Go inside and near the beginning of the cave, there's another cave. Go inside and there will be Regice's eye pattern.

Once you're prepared to battle, talk to the pokemon statue and battle Regice. I have no tips on battling the Regi's, except for: Mesprit's extrasensory is good on them!

I have absolutely no idea how to get Regirock. To go underground, you first need an explorers kit. To get an Explorers kit, talk to a man in Eterna City.

Then, you use the explorers kit and go underground. To find out where treasures are, use your touch screen and tap the map. It might show a diamond-shaped object on the map.

Go to that location and press A next to the wall. Lastly, use the pick-axe or hammer to uncover hidden treasures. The griseous orb is just like the adamant and lustrous orb.

Go to turnback cave and go to giratinas room. You find a portal to the distortion world. Go in and through to the end it is not that long.

You should find the orb. It also changes Giratina's form. When you get the last gym badge, get Waterfall and go to Mt. Coronet and go to the room where you have to use Waterfall to get to.

There you will get the two orbs. When you beat the elite four, go to Town Elder in Celestic Town and talk to her.

She will talk about some stuff. Then go to Spear Pillar. Have fun, because they are both level Use psybeam it should die i recommend alakazam because high sp atk and it's psychic type so that rounds up the power to a whopping finally use flame wheel on lucario though it probably won't die and lucario is faster use a super efct mach punch to strike first and win a cobble badge.

Have a pokemon that knows sleath rock a golbat a roselia first use sleath rock on duskull beat move on next haunter. First have roselia muse grasswhistle mismagious falls asleep for like 6 turns.

Alright now switch out golbat and use bite until you k. Mismagious and win your relic badge. When you get to Hearthome city, go to the house to the right of the pokemon center and talk to the person inside and shell give you an Evee at level For all of you rookie trainers out there, let me say welcome to the world of pokemon.

Now this lesson is about how to get togetic. Togetic is the evolution of togepi, and you can get a togepi egg from cynthia in eterna city.

When you go to the cycle shop to claim your thanks, make sure you have an extra slot for the egg. How to get togetic? Is that what you are asking?

Well togepi evolves from a friendship evolution. The quickest way to do that is to give togepi a sooth bell and not let it faint much.

After you beat the veil stone gym, dawn will tell you team galactic took her pokedex. Go the the warehouse and fight the two grunts.

In order to get Togepi, you have to do beat one of the four commanders at Galactic Headquarters in Eterna City and go to the Cycle Shop.

Gust before you go in, Cynthia will give you an egg, but make sure you have a spare slot in your party. Hatch it and it will be a Togepi. Enter it, and you will be at Torn World again, and if you reach the end, you will get the Platinum Orb.

Equip it to Giratina and it will be Origin Giratina. The code to get darkria is: This AR code is a one liner, and all your Pokemon are shiny in battle.

This is a code for the original modifier with the calculater on the poketech thing. You first press the number of the pokemon you want must be national dex number then press L.

After, select the level you want to find it in, then press R. Then just walk into the grass and you encounter it. If you don't press another number or anything on the calculator, then you will just keep encountering the same pokemon over and over until you move to a different area or turn off the game.

Its been tested so don't worry. These work on the U. Here is an action replay code that gives you BP. This only works for Pokemon Platinum.

It says that there is no Pokemon attached but there is. This code is 65 lines long and MUST be entered correctly.

I will give you the lines in section. This has been tested and it works on North American versions. OK, this is the code: Trust me it works!

Walk a total of , steps Guest Set: Defeat a total of 50 trainers in the trainer cafe Great Painting: Defeat the Elite Four 10 times Pokemon Bust 1: Obtain one silver print from the Battle Frontier Pokemon bust 2: Battle at each battle frontier facility Tea Set: Purchase the Guest Set Wall Clock: Say you want an any level female Feebas.

Wait about five minutes and check summary, and if it begins to trade, hit start. This scabbard has now been identyfied.

Spanish scabbard for the long M socket bayonet used with the Remington rolling block rifle. I found this button in Virginia at an old colonial house spot.

Need help to identify: Your button is a United Railways Company of St. It dates to What it was doing in Virginia is anybody's guess. It is a piece of metal shaped like a triangle about the size of quarter..

Appears to be brass or Copper. Very thick and heavy. Perhaps a "brass" from a rail car? Thanks Hello, found this ring with 2 crotal bells in a back garden any idea of the age?

Thanks Chris My Builder found this pewter button when digging out for our extension in Greater Manchester. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about the history around this.

It must have been very special to someone as the original fastener had split but 2 holes had been made so the button could still be worn.

I would be grateful for any information. Jill Hi, I found your page during a search while trying to find information about the attached key.

It was found with some brass railroad switch keys in an old toolbox. The person it belonged to worked for the railroad for forty years and retired about 20 years ago.

He is now deceased. It is a little smaller than a regular switch key and the only marking is the small "x" in the corner.

The stem is moveable or hinged. I have posted to several boards without any results. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

This one has two mounting holes where the one in the original picture has one. The hinge in the original picture is upside down from how it is mounted in the cabinet.

The location this item was found also contained other items like buttons and coins dating back to the Revolutionary and Civil War.

And possibly the image of The French icon Marianne. I also have made no attempt to clean the item, it is still covered in sand and dirt.

I have only been metal detecting for a few months so this is all new to me. Thanks, Stephen Mike Robinson says: Hi Stephen,You really found a goodie there,it is an ormulu bronze applique for furniture, probably French and from the Napoleonic period circa If you wish to clean it, you may contact me and I will tell you how to do it.

There is no guarantee how it will turn out but the gold on the bronze is very often in good condition and the results are amazing.

It was about a foot deep in the softer sand. So far I have heard a type of bullet which I hope it is to a weight for a crab net to part of machinery used to help build the hotels and also a ball for a hitch.

So if anyone can please help us clear this up, I would greatly appreciate it. Its about 3 inches tall and it appears to have brass or copper around the bottom of it.

Under the "cemented sand" it appears to be painted metallic blue. Thanks I have finally found out what this is This site talks more about it, if anyone is interested.

Hi, We also live in Virginia Beach. My son found a round similar to that. Yes, at Dam Neck Navel Station, there was a 40mm gun school, but they also shot live rounds.

These rounds have been washing ashore due to storms and such. I work with EOD navy guys. They took it and detonated it. There were no fragments left i.

Please ensure you have it thoroughly checked out. My son almost took out our whole family. I found this at a old farm field in VA looks to be brass or copper.

And what is the face of. He has a helmet and a dragon on his head any help would be great. I don't know what the item is, but I hope this will help you figure out where to search for more info.

The helmet looks very much like those worn by these Brazilian troops: That picture is from The uniform pays homage to Empress Maria Leopoldina, archduchess of Austria, and was inspired by the Dragoon Cavalry troop of that Empire.

Today, the color of the panache obeys the following pattern: It was ten inches in the ground and it looks to be military.

It is a little larger than a half dollar. Any information on this button would b greatly appreciated. The National Emblem of France is backed by a fasces, representing justice.

This is a piece of metal that I found in our allotment it is magnetic one side but not the other could you please help thanks P. S I have a orbiter prospector T, any ideas would be great Thanks,PETER Have this round 2" copper belt buckle found crated with normal household items from an estate sale in pennsylvania several years ago.

If you find one you are very likely to find a second so keep looking at the location of the find. I found this old bronze skeleton key near the water in a park near a historical area of Norfolk ,VA.

Unfortunately before I knew what I was doing, I cleaned the key with a wire brush and according to the antique dealer, damaged the patina and lessened the value.

It is still neat-looking. It has the number 14 imprinted on the bow. Can anyone identify the year of this key? From the s to s most of house keys were made like that but each a little different.

I and my Detector bud's have found many of these over the years. There are some collectors out there for these With best regards Thorsten Germany can anyone tell me what this is.

I believe you are partially correct. Masons and Knights Templar didn't have their own money?? They would have used the same currency as everyone else in their area or time frame.

I believe, however, that this object could possibly have belonged to a Templar, or more accurately, a crusader Knight? During the crusades, all of the city's in the holy land were walled city's, and at night, the city gates would have been closed until morning.

If a Knight or crusader were to find himself outside the city walls after dark a VERY dangerous place to be he could approach the "man door" that was situated beside the main gate and present the guard with a "token" that would have been issued to all Knights and crusaders at the time.

This would allow him to be admitted into the city after dark. These "tokens" were very highly prized be those who carried them as you could probably have guessed because they had the potential to save their lives.

So, many returning crusaders would have still carried these back to their homeland and kept them for as long as they lived.

Hope this helps, Harold. House of Representatives Thank You can anyone tell me what year this is what can anyone tell me about this rosette What is the value of the above medal.

I do not know exactly of what this medal was for. Perhaps you can contact the Olympic committee to gain answers. However I can tell you about Dieges and Clust.

Dieges and Clust originally opened selling fine and custom jewelry. They also began to cast medals for different occasions and organizations,The Olympic Committee being one of their return customers.

They also did medals for maritime and military service as well as the Eagle Scout Meritorious Medal. The most famous and sought after medals Dieges and Clust ever cast were the Medals were struck on behalf of Margaret Molly Brown,Titanic survivor, to thank Captain Rostron, the ships officers, and crew for their bravery and hospitality shown to Titanic's survivors.

Officers and Engineers and Bronze for the Crew. The "Unsinkable" Molly Brown presented one to each in appreciation of their heroism and bravery rescuing the survivors of the ill-fated Titanic on April 15, I can say that in the late 60's early 70's they offered replicated Carpathia Medals.

However they began to be passed off as "Authentic" and once Dieges and Clust heard of this they destroyed the mold.

The company ceased trading in and their successor, Herff Jones, Inc. So I think you have a very nice find.

My name is Carla Lovo and I am trying to identify a class ring that I found in my grandfather's belongings. The last year he attended school was and it was the 8th grade in North Dakota at least that's what I think.

I have attached a picture of the ring and I was just wondering if you could tell me where it was from? I have researched ctgs several times and cannot find anything that matches those initials in or around North Dakota or any type of school from the s thank you in advance.

Trying to figure out these strange looking orb's that do not open anyway whatsoever! Any help at all would be great. I would be grateful for any information about the attached crucifix.

It was found by my late uncle over 40 years ago Sadly I don't know where. The markings appear to be arabic. It measures 60mm x 50mm.

Hello, I found your site and am hoping you may be able to help me identify this piece that I received from deceased mother in law.

I believe it may be a flattened rectangular Chinese coin. It is silver and has been wrapped with gold. She was adopted by a Catonese father and the design does appear to be Asian.

The pictures attached are clear and I can not detect any further markings than what you see. I cleaned it up just a bit. I believe it's brass.

It's obviously a piece of something. It's about six inches long and weighs about a half a pound.

Any help identifying would be helpful! Hi Tom, magnetic no sound by Matanuska River deep in the dirt planting trees for sure has gold in it 10 points on the star or sun and very detailed and intricate designs on it with a magnifying glass you can see thank you for looking at my Sun shaped Rock.

Hi Tom, I would love any help in identifying these sharp pieces of iron I believe. Do you think it's just some old pieces of fence or something more interesting?

Thank you for any guidance! Hello,I'm new to metal detecting and attached are two pics of a recent find. This was found in a pasture which was the site of a home in prior to and up to at least I think it's either copper or brass You can see the size based off of the ruler in the photo.

It's pretty hard to see but I looked at it under a microscope and I'm pretty sure that's what it says. Any idea what it may be?

I have found this a while back but never could find out what it is.. It's a little smaller than a dime. My daughter found this medallion out in my yard..

This is a new subdivision and prior it was just a field.. It has some of a tint to it like it can be copper or bronze.. Any help on finding out what it could be is greatly appreciated It is heavy for its size, perhaps lead.

It has a tiny hole on top. My daddy found this medallion in a old school yard 20 miles away from our house. I can't find anything about it.

I'm sure if nothing great I'm just curious about what it is.. Can someone help me anything about this button. I am trying to find out what this coin shaped object is.

I found it while metal detecting in a creek in North Texas. Hi there, I recently purchased these at an estate sale. I have no idea what there made of or there value.

Could you help me? The woman statue is about 8 feet tall and turtle statue is about 3 feet. Found this in a old house I cleaned out it was in the ww2 vets belongings, none magnetic,I believe it's silver has a u,small heart, swastika, and what appears to be a four leaf clover on it no other markings and I believe it's a cuff.

Found this the other day while detecting a creek in north AL I know it is a ship but not sure how old or if it is some type ornament. Any help in this would be very appreciated.

Hi,My brother found this in Suffolk. I think it might be Roman or Greek. I have a few spoons with the Christofle mark inside the lip of the bowl. BUT I cannot id the opposite mark.

I've taken so many pictures of it that my brain is frazzled and near to just deleting any and all aspects of these spoons!

I used a macro lens and have made sure the pix are as you would view them in the same direction as the Christofle mark. If you or any of your helpers could be so kind as to help me I would be extremely appreciative because it's driving me bonkers!

LoL no really -. Madden wants to know what this object is, He says: On my medal detector they showed up as iron. Also there used to be a farm where I found these.

We found this in our backyard while playing around!!! That would appear to be a plumb bob. I am a surveyor and use them. It should be a brass body.

The bottom, or smaller end, hole should be threaded. A steel point screws in there. The top is also threaded and a cap screws on there with a hole for the string.

Attached is a photo of one. I found these in my local river and am interested to see what they are. Attached are the two things that I found.

Description of picture 2 and 3: A flat, metal coin with what seems to be oriental symbols. One picture is the front of the coin while the other picture is the back.

It is very light weight. There is a square cut out of the middle Description of picture 1: A gold, metal triangle with a circle cut out of the middle.

There is a star on each corner with a line between each star. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for you help! I found this while working up ground in the garden. It is a hollow steel ball with a chime inside.

It is a bit bigger than a fifty cent piece. If anyone could give me any information about this piece it would be greatly appreciated.

I have one as well. Mine has the yingyang symbol all over it. It has a bell inside so when you shake it, it makes noise. I was thinking it goes to a game?

That appears to be a very old Spanish coin minted in the new world destined for Spain. Hi This past weekend I purchased this from a flea market.

It was in a coin sleeve. It's some sort of metal that appears to be tarnished. It is also quite heavy.

The only markings on this is "M4" I am very curious about it's age, origin and use. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please help me with more information on this jewelry it says 14K I think and I can only make out the letter A or L in the name.

Help ID this Item. Where do you find this? It looks early 20 th C to me. The symbolism is political, and indicative of some of the far right organisations pre ww2.

Quite possibly Italian s The helmet is highly stylized and has the look of the type of kitsche item mass produced in Italy during Mussolinis dictatorship.

The stars are not anything I've seen in anything actually ancient Roman. The axe and rods are of course the fasces, the ancient symbol of the authority of the roman consul of chastisement and death over the people who elected him.

Its where we get the word fascism from. The fasces were used by the Italian fascists in the same way the swastika was used by the Nazis.

Another indication that this is 20 th C is the two items superimposed by the fasces, one of these appears to be a shovel.

Can't work out the other. Fascism is poorly understood in the contemporary world and is usually equated with Nazism.

Unlike Nazism, fascism is not inherently racist. The symbolism describes the underlying idea of fascism; a partnership between worker, business, church and state.

Anyway, that's my take. The stars are a mystery and the head appears to have the look of the American personification of liberty, possibly a medal issued by one of the obscure far right North American political movements of the 19th C Cheers, Richard.

That said, I am posting this on his behalf as he brought an item out today and said "i've never been able to figure out what this is" and I said "we'll figure it out dad" but I have no idea how.

I wish I'd gotten a little better description but here are the pics. It is a heavy object, he claims it is brass.

It is about 6 inches in length, being maybe inches wide. It has some sort of a post coming out of the bottom that I have to assume was originally used to insert into something or other.

It has two flat-tish sides that look like they were originally meant to house string or something. Pics below - thanks in advance for any pointers.

Found along the old Erie canal at the forks of the Wabash river, near Huntington, Indiana. This appears to be part of a Centrifugal Governor, a device engineers used to use to keep steam engines working efficiently, in the 18thth century.

Obviously you don't see them nowadays because of modern technology, sensors and things. But what you have there is a treasure from a bygone age!

Regards Andrew R Szypulski. Hi I have found this cleaning a attic will love to know some info about this item. I was hoping you could help identify this tray, what its use was and how old it is.

I found this when I was a child and have never found anyone who could tell what it is it seem like its made of lead. I found them unusual and neat. I have no knowlege on indian artifacts.

METAL OBJECT found in SC in I need to know more about it it seems very primitive could be revolutionary war trench knife or knuckle knife or not sure if it's broken or if that's the way it's supposed to be Would like it if you could find a knife experst email and ask the question if they could give us more information or someone who might be able to appraise it.

We have been soaking, brushing and scratching at this item. Also found old bricks burried and decomposed brick in dirt about foot deep.

Our home is years old. Wondering if this is anything significant, or just scrap. About the size of a pop can top. There is a ridge along edge of backside?

We soaked in vinegar, scrubbed, any other ideas to clear a better detail. HI I recently came across this item. It's silver looking but sure it's a type of metal add you can see there's a metal chain for the shoulder and there are semi precious stones covering the whole piece.

On the inside where the felt is wearing off you can see what appears to be Arabic writing. I was told it was an Arabian medicine casring case.

If you could shine some light on what this is I would greatly appreciate it. This item was found buried in a garden In Norfolk England.

It appears to be some kind of steel as it was rusted but had either gold, copper or brass inlays in it. There are four rings of a different metal place on the shaft and the horseshoe piece is removable for access to the rings.

There is enough room on the shaft for 16 rings, there are also four turquoise looking stones with holes pre bored for 16 stones. The big ring on the end is notched from wear and so is the horseshoe so I am believing it was suspended from the large ring.

It seems like it is something symbolic. Do you have any idea what this could be and what it might be worth. Claret on the other and opens from this side with 2 charms and the words Reliquia San Antonio M.

What type of crucifix is this and what from what time period. Thank you for any help. Michelle hat you have is a Relic of Saint Antony M.

Claret when the Crucifix is opened. The "Relic" is a piece of cloth that has been touched to the remains of St. Antony or a first class Relic that maybe a tiny piece of the St himself such as piece of hair etc.

To get a real explanation etc. Society of Saint Pious X. Antony, also after you contact them I am sure they would like the picture of the Crucifix also..

It is two inches wide and an inch and a quarter from top to bottom. It is a bit hyperbolic in shape the top wingspan is curved and the little leg at the bottom comes away in the opposite direction as the wing curve.

I know that was a bit confusing but i have no idea how to explain it. It looks like a leg on a old silver china set.

Maybe a leg of a tea pot or something like that because the curve at the top is so round. That is the best i can do. Tom i have a question for you.

I am new to this whole metal detecting and have never found anything of value. You item is half of a deer antler puzzle.

The two deer heads, would have their antlers stuck together and the goal was to separate them: Thought this was a arrowhead I dug up but is made of some kind of metal and sand pitted.

Looks to be a circle surrounded by smaller circles on the front.. But what caught my attention is something is engraved or so it looks to be on the back Found these 2 eagles or Hawks attached to each other by a chain in the Normandy region of France.

They appear to be brass and I can't for the life of me find out what they would have been for. Any help much appreciated!

My husband found this while working in a four-foot-deep ditch dug in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Looks like a gold or brass color in the right light.

Hello Tom, First of all, thank you for having this site! He thought it came from the s and was military. The base of the piece is either silver or silver plate with a brass colored crown and a V and E intertwined.

I bought it to wear on a jacket pocket but want to have more information about it before I do. I am just curious if anyone has seen a piece like this.

Thank you in advance for your time. Looking to see if these are worth anything,no writing or marks anywhere Hi, I found your site and am curious if anyone knows what this box is..

Kind of looks like an old tic tac toe game. But seems very old. It's brass, with wood on the inside. And it's about 8x8x8 inches. Hello Tom,Can you help me?

I dont know the exact origin and purpose. Also could be for a boutanire a flower held to a shirt or rust to attend dances and such.

Hi, Your pin looks like a hairpin of the early 19th C. The double Eagle was of course used by the Romanov family as a symbol of imperial Russia, but I think this is Austro Hungarian, mid 19th C when the double headed Eagle was used to describe the Hapsburg empire of Austria and Hungary.

The give away is the flower in the right lower lobe appears to be an edelweiss, the national. Hi Suelka, Well if your family origins are Bohemia then the eagle is almost certainly the Hapsburg one.

I think it's late 19th C, after Prior to this the Empire was 'Austria ' after and internal revolts it became Austria-Hungary and the eagle double headed.

This isn't a comb for combing the hair but for holding the type of hairstyle that was popular with well to do and aristocratic women in the late s.

Yes, perhaps wigs but by this time your looking at long hair piled on the head and back combed, the comb is to secure back combed hair.

Hope this helps Richard. Tom, I sent you an email a over summer and never heard back? Thought I'd try again. My husband found this on beach at Block Island.

We brought it to Historical Society and woman wanted us to donate it but wasn't clear as to what it was?

If any information would appreciate. I can send more pictures also. Your stone tool is a Celt or more appropriately an Adze used by American Indians for chopping , gouging wood and many other tasks involving chopping cutting etc.

It was made by the ground stone technique where the rough form was roughed out by chipping and the final tool was made and sharpened by grinding on an abrasive hard stone.

These types of tools do not have great monetary value to collectors as the most interest is on the projectile points , however the historical value is great, so donating it to the local historical society is a good thing to do so more folks will get a chance to see it..

There have been a great many native American artifacts found on block Island, particularly near the beaches.

Archeological excavations and testing done for the potential wing farm found over 2, artifacts. Due to intrusions of the Pequot, the Niantic were divided into an eastern and western division.

The Western Niantic were subject to the Pequot and lived just east of the mouth of the Connecticut River while the Eastern Niantic became very close allies to the Narragansett.

Block Island was supposedly a long term settlement of the Niantic from about A. Hope this helped Bob Milburn.

The person on e bay i bought it from knew nothing but that hallmark of the three leaf clover with 14 and an A i believe and she said was victorian I think it was repurposed to a sailer and he put a count of his catches or if from Ireland maybe a rock or hill formation?

Seems like a sailer carved it that much I think ,It tests for 14 k and weigh almost 4 grams. It's a pendant or bony pin for a quil pillow or.

For seeing when you need two or more items to be joined together to hold stitch them together and it can be to a bootanire for dances and such to hold the flower to a shirt.

Hey, My dad when he was younger found a bunch of these in different sizes he is not sure what they are or what they were used for.

Hoping you can help. He said the truck he found them in was very old over years and in a case. In small writing it says sterling. Below find some pictures Thank you Carol Rodriguez.

Oh, in the last picture , the hard to see fleur de lei s are above the H, not the K. There is another one on the opposite side of the blank place.

The rest of the gold chasing work appears to be swirly feathery, or fern or paisley type of shapes. Hello, I have incessantly and adamantly researching without even a wing of rest in the past two days.

Can anyone please help me. I couldn't even put into words how unimaginably grateful I would be if somehow one of you were able to finally help me out hahaha.

If you are able to assist in anyway I would be overflowing with exorbitant appreciation! I would so greatly appreciate any help at all.

Thank you very very much. Your item is a siphon feed spray gun cup, commonly used to paint equipment, etc. The large nut on top is where the spray gun attaches.

The small tube on top is simply a vent tube that doesn't attach to anything. The thumb slide latch secures the top of the cup with a cam action, so that the cup seals against the seal along the inside rim.

You fill the cup with paint, lock down the lid, screw the air pressured spray gun on top, and commence to paint.

My girlfriend dug this up i thought it to be iron fence picket but one end is threaded. I think if its weapon the blood grove too big.

Hi Tom, I live in Sri Lanka and I found this medal in my backyard, there are no details, except for the word Huguenin engraved on it.

Its heavy and it's a really nice one. I found these in a half deteriorated pile of old clothes. The bag they were in seems like it's in good shape but it's fake leather.

I kept it incase it was important to figure out where these metal objects are from. They are shaped like shoes or birds and they have a somewhat large indentation on one side.

They are also marked with dots. My guess is that they are weights or a currency of some sort. They also are magnetic, some more than others.

I live on O'ahu and I keep finding these little chunks of metal. I think they are so cool but I have no idea what they are from!

My imagination wants it to be like some WW2 relics but my reality thinks it's a soda can: My brother found this in early while digging very deep in our backyard.

This seems to be some sort of medal that is black with the Presidents Seal in it, but very eroded. I was thinking since it is now black that this could be as old as 's.

Hard to find anything that looks like this, but here it is! Please let me know if you have any clue. I came across your website whole googling a description of this item I'm sending you the picture of.

I've tried for 2 days to find out what it is. If you could help in anyway it would be appreciated. Tom, Hi Tom and thank you for this site.

I was hoping you might be able to shed some light on this item my husband found. We would like to have some idea of what it is, how old it is and posdibly the value of it.

We believe it is made of copper because there is some green tarnishing in a couple of areas. It depicts the US seal or coat of arms and our initial thought was that it was a belt buckle until we realized that there was no hook and there had never been anything either.

So then we thought mabe it hung from something like a sword or horse harness or anything else, but then realized that would make the design hang crooked.

So we are at a loss. Thank you very kindly if you can identify this piece. Tom, My father in law found this while working outside and I have no idea what it could be.

Thank you so much for your help in advance. I found this unique whistle buried far beneath a bridge in Placer County California some years ago and have been trying to identify it ever since.

It appears to have been a cross perhaps modified to a lovely sound of a whistle. The copper wire exterior design is hand made and there are some sort of nails I've never seen before holding this piece together.

It feels powerful and magical when worn around the neck and causes dreams like no other in the night. I feel a calling of the Dragon with it strangely.

I hope someone can identify it's origin as I would be so very pleased. Tom, Hello, I found this out hiking a while ago.

Everyone I ask has bits and pieces of meanings behind the symbols. Its 3" across, appears to be gold plated nickel, and was in an extremely worn velvet pouch.

Thank you so much. Hello Tom, I would love to know what this is! I hope you can shine some light on this little mystery of mine.

I will be eagerly awaiting your response. Hello Tom, My partner found this the other night whilst out metal detecting near Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

It is quite weighty and the letter looks as though in old script. It has four roughly welded 'hooks' on the back.

Sorry, the photos are from the iPad so not great quality. Can provide better ones of needed. It is about 2 inches from top to bottom, and about an inch and a half across.

His son is really fascinated by the finds that they have discovered when out together lovely bonding experience too and we would love to know what this might be.

Dear Tom, Hope you can help! Growing up as a kid I'm half a century now , my father owned a cottage that my great uncle had built on an island on a lake in Derry, NH.

Hanging on one of the cottage walls all those years was this oval, poured mold copper portrait of Tecumseh. It is exactly as it came out of the mold, with the overflow flash still around the outer edges.

Where my father had gotten it, he never told me. After my father's death, the cottage was eventually sold, and I was given this piece since my family knew that I being an artist myself had always admired it.

For years I have tried to find out more about its creator Mr. Howard , the piece itself, and its value, but to date have had no luck at all in my searching, regardless of what search parameters I use.

I figured I would give your site a try, and see what happens. The oval itself not the flash measures Any help would be most appreciated!

Hi Tom my wife is originally from Russia and her dad found a ring while digging and exploring many years ago. Any idea where it would have come from?

My name is Alfonso, 13 years ago my neighbors 2 old couple give this radio they say they bought brand new and I wish to know how much it's worth.

I bought this little motorcycle toy am a metal fabricator and for me it looks like is a hand made because they use nuts, roofing nails, wire and sheet metal too and it has some numbers under that for are this AF if you can find something about.

I found these 2 items. Could you be so kind as to let me know what they are and perhaps a year and maybe a worth. Tom, Thank you so much for responding.

There is no writing on the pot. Only the "etching" I sent the pictures of. The pot was very tarnished. I used some tarnX on it and it is now a pale gold color.

It is about 10 inches across and about 16inches deep. Attached are pictures before I cleaned it.

I appreciate your time. I need help identifying the figurine below. I picked it up at a street fair years ago. Digging up my yard the house is over yrs and I find this.

Can you help me. Hi Tom I have a bell found in my fayher's tool box after he passed away a year ago. It was slightly tarnished but shined right up.

It hand made hard solid gold metal. Magnet does not stick to it. It has the word india and I think 2 symbols of some sort ingraved. I took it to 2 places one said it was gold plated??

My question is which one? I have researched this type of bell and have had no luck any info would be appreciated. Thank you Sylvia Espinosa.

One of the members of tomstreasuresforum. It's a solid brass bell made in India, actually very common. It wasn't hand made, it was crudely made in a mold which makes it look older than it is.

Someone inscribed the word "India" on it, many of them had words or phrases inscribed or designs. Probably worth a few dollars to the right collector of bells or brass items.

I had a lot of beautiful old brass items from India in my 2nd hand shop but they never sold very well, probably due to brass them being very common.

She won't find another bell exactly like hers since they weren't made in mass by factories. A lot of people in India made brass items.

Here are some similarly made ones you can tell by the top ring but much more ornately inscribed. Hi Tom, I am a collector who collects mostly antique porcelain and pottery.

I do find other treasures that are quite intriguing, though. As a Journalism major, I have pretty good research skills and can usually identify most things I find.

A few months ago I found a small wooden carved chest upholstered in Leather. There is an old world map of some sort on top.

It is probably the nicest chest I have ever seen and cannot find any information about it. Besides somehow dating or identifying the map or hardware, the only identifying feature are the initials TH on one of the hinges last photo.

On one of the footed areas is etched or carved "Made in Spain". I am attaching photographs of the chest and any information is greatly appreciated.

I know it's brass. There are no markings so far. I will look with a magnifying glass and report back to you. Jim Ross Jr Says: Hi- The object you have is part of a coat rack system used in many old school closets late to about I have one just like it from a school here in Wakefield, MA.

I'll try to recall just where this item was mounted as well as send you a pic of the brace I have. Hi Tom,Found this in the woods I cleaned it up but can't identify it please help.

He said it was buried about 5 inches down at low tide. He thinks it is hollow, weighs four to five pounds, and is roughly eighteen inches long.

Any ideas what it could be? While detecting a house circa but records only go back to s I found this burried front lawn 10 plus inches there is a stonewall that horses were tied to approx feet from where I found it don't know if there was a gate at some time I only recovers half of it has part of iron?

Chain on too so it must have hung from something has a hole in it don't know why and a design also at bottom it looks like maybe numbers.

Hello my husband and I have been trying to figure out what this is.. We've been getting a little input from a couple Facebook groups but no one really knows for sure.

I've been told it looks like a grave ornament but it's too small, a medallion of some sort and an Indian pin.

We would love to know what this really is and it's really hard to read due to half of the wording being gone. But we can see teepee Canyon and Indians on it and the word Indian is also Pretty clear.

Thank you in advance for any help in identifying this. I was wondering if I could get help in identifying this coin or if I could get information where I would be able to do my own research on this.

This is an old item that I am having a hard time locating its origin and I am asking for your help on this matter. It would be greatly appreciated.

An if you can find the origin can you tell me the value of it. So mayve they were the holders for the plate it fits right on there perfect WM in middle an on bottom of back Thank you.

Found this at a old house site. Says "Consolidated" in the Center. Hello I am trying to figure out what this is, my husband said it's a nut pick, but I don't believe it is.

It is about 5" long and I believe it says EL. Hello, I found this old silver ring with a Gold letter "C" in a trough on Miami Beach yesterday with my Minelab Excalibur II and could really use some help finding information about it.

Hi I found this pin in the basement of an old house with a dirt floor.. Can't find out anything on it…Seems to be some sort of an award for a card game?

Says CWA inside of a Spade and 12 ? My name is kellie. Me and my dad have been trying to find out what this is. It was found with a metal detector in a confederate safe haven where Lee's son stayed before the battle of the grove in southern Virginia.

We really appreciate your time! Can Anyone Help Me I. Hi Tom,These small "stones" were with an arrowhead collection my father had.

He worked for the railway and would find arrowheads and other treasures while working on the tracks. I have searched the internet for a clue as to what they are but with no luck.

I'd appreciate any information you can give me. This one is a mystery
